Roskomnadzor is limiting network connections to Cloudflare to 16 KiB maximum for each request. As i found out recently, this also applies to uploading. That means that i will have to compress everything a lot. The serious danger is that they might fully block connections to Cloudflare soon, which means that you won't be able to connect to my website, unless you have my ISP's static IP address (which i wouldn't share lest my location might be figured out using this).
If you've been wondering, why are pictures so low-quality, that is why. I'm trying to fit them into the 16 KiB.
This is really fucked up and i feel like the only way out of it is to host my own DNS with my website, which will undoubtedly put more payload to my home server (and will also expose my ISP's static IP address).
I can't do this anymore. I can't even say my opinions without getting repressions from my government.
:(
Never really liked the .ru thing on my domain, but i bought it because it was the cheapest option i could have bought with my very low budget at the time.
Now the times have changed. Though my budget is still low, now i can get a new domain which also kinda has a domain hack. All that's left is to buy a VPS somewhere in EU and set up a DNS to my website so that it would work everywhere again.
P.S. i'll start working on a blog system after doing the aforementioned things.
Website is still work in progress. I just can't find time to finish it.
